February 1 was National Love Your Pet Day and the Hazard Health and Rehabilitation Center had a lot of loving to give out. Their newest edition Charlie Brown, Chloee, Molly, Barney, and the fish have brought so much happiness to the residents. Pets really do make the best of friends.
Local Church Visits Facility with Valentine’s Day Cards
With Valentine’s Day approaching, Hazard Health and Rehabilitation Center had a very special group from Mount Olive Baptist visit the residents. They brought them handmade cards and roses to celebrate the upcoming holiday. Thank you so much for your time, gifts, and thoughtfulness. Residents and staff greatly appreciated your generosity.
Celebration For Activities And Maintenance Staff
Staff and residents of Hazard Health and Rehabilitation Center celebrated Maintenance and Activities Professionals Week the other day. Thank you to all activities staff for making the residents daily activities interesting and fun. Also, thank you to the maintenance staff for keeping the facility well maintained and looking great.
January Cooking Class
The residents at Hazard Health and Rehabilitation Center had their January cooking class the other day. Residents made a big pot of vegetable soup and enjoyed grilled cheese sandwiches, cookies, and a birthday cake for dessert. Staff and residents sang Happy Birthday and wished Mrs Carol Butler, activity assistant, the happiest of birthdays.
