At Hazard Health and Rehabilitation Center, we recently purchased some companion pets for our residents. Residents absolutely love these companion pets. They do almost everything a real pet does, except wet the floor. The dog barks, pants, wags his tail and turns his head as if he is listening to what one is saying to him. The cat even rolls over so the person can pet her tummy. It’s wonderful to see the smiles on the faces of the residents.
Hazard Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 200 bed facility nestled within the scenic mountains of Perry County in the city of Hazard, Kentucky. Since the time of our opening in March of 1976, we have been providing quality care to the residents of Eastern Kentucky and the surrounding area.
