The 2018 Black Gold Festival Parade was Saturday, September 22. at 11:00 am. The parade route for 2018 was the same as 2017. It started at Pizza Hut on East Main Street, continued on to Memorial Drive, and then went down North Main Street and it end at Combs Motel. This years theme: PSALMS 133:1. How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity. This float represents our community: we are all here with each other because we need each other- Those who help & those who are helped. This year marks 42 years of unity within Perry Co.
