With it being Administrator’s Week, it’s only fitting that the facility recognizes and celebrates Hazard Health and Rehabilitation Center Administrator Charlotte Thornsberry. She is adored by by the residents and staff for the bonds she has formed and her willingness to go above and beyond while emphasizing the importance of quality of care and the staff and residents being one giant family.
Not only is it a Administrator’s Week, it’s her birthday so cake was on the menu and it was as sweet as Charlotte is to our residents. Oh, and they added some potato chips and ice cream to add to the thrill that everyone’s taste buds enjoyed.
Charlotte began her nursing career in 1978 as a RN at Hazard Appalachian Hospital. She remained there for over twenty three years in management positions on a wide variety of units and came to lead the ship at Hazard HRC in 2011.
