This is National Volunteer Week!
The points of Light Foundation sponsors the volunteer movement, and sets aside an annual week to celebrate volunteers across the nation.
This year National Volunteer Week is April 23-29, 2017. The Points of Light Foundation has set for this year’s theme: “Service Unites”.
Hazard Health & Rehab has adopted this theme to honor our many volunteers who give so freely of their time and love to our residents.
Hazard Health & Rehab has a great group of volunteers who visit residents to offer friendship, companionship, comfort, love and spiritual guidance.
Not a day goes by that we don’t have faithful volunteers darkening our doors, coming to spread cheer to residents.
So to the many, many volunteers at the Hazard Health & Rehab,
YOU ARE POWER.
YOU ARE A CHANGE MAKER.
YOU ARE A VOLUNTEER.
WITHIN YOU LIES THE POWER TO CHANGE THE WORLD!
Thank you for what you do, and for doing it so well!
